Daniel and Sylvie Graduate!

May 28th was a very special day for the Moore family. After two long years, lots of hard work, and many great accomplishments Daniel graduated with an MA in English from UVA. His thesis was wonderfully received and he finished his program with great success! This day was made even more special because Dan got to walk the lawn and graduate next to his mother, Sylvie, or more affectionately known as "Anya" to Madeleine. Over the past few years she worked tirelessly toward a Masters in Linguistics and how wonderful that mother and son got to stand next to one another as masters!

For both of them this degree represents so much more than just a piece of paper. Dan wrote his entire thesis while being an amazing stay at home dad with Madeleine. I would venture to guess that he typed nearly 1/3 of his thesis with one hand, his other holding a squirming baby! What a triumph!

Sylvie worked toward her degree while continuing to work full-time, and be an awesome full-time mother, and grandmother.

Needless to say, God has been faithful and we are so thankful!
